Bridal Gowns
You're engaged! Congratulations!
Now, time for the best part - bridal gown shopping. Here are some do's and don'ts to keep in mind when coming to find the dress of your dreams.
Do:
Make an appointment. We want your shopping experience to be personal + intimate. To create this environment, we take one bride at a time in our bridal suite. This means, if you try to walk-in while there is already an appointment scheduled, we will more than likely not be able to see you at that time in our bridal suite. Make the most of both your time + ours by scheduling an appointment before you come in to shop. Click here to schedule your appointment.
Limit your entourage. While we know this is an exciting time and you may want to include all your besties, try and limit those you bring to the ones who know you and your style best. Remember, the more people you bring, the more opinions you are likely to receive.
Establish a budget you are comfortable with. This will help the consultant know what gowns to select for you to try on. We want to be mindful of the budget you have set, and don’t want you falling in love with a gown you cannot buy.
Wear proper undergarments. You are trying on gowns that other people have/will also be trying on, so be sure to wear the proper undergarments on both top and bottom (neutral colors are suggested). Make sure the undergarments you wear will not have straps that are distracting when trying on different necklines.
HAVE FUN. You are shopping for the day when you finally become one with the love of your life. Enjoy it.
Don't:
Bring any type food or beverage to your appointment. We do not allow any food or drink in the store, and we don’t want it to have to go to waste.
Expect the sample pieces to fit you perfectly. We will help you determine what size is best to special order, or can suggest alterations to be made if you are purchasing our in stock piece. Remember that even when special ordering, the dress is not being made custom to your measurements and you will more than likely still need alterations.
Wear bold makeup. We too love a strong red lip, but those bright colors often accidentally transfer onto the gowns. We want to keep our gowns in the best condition possible so they're ready to go home with you when you decide it's "the one."
